The cost of home staging varies as each project is different and have varied requirements.  All homes differ from size, floor plan, location, furniture and accessories required and amount of hours and work.  Home staging services costs as a general rule of thumb, less than the price of your first price reduction and can typically range between 0.5-3% of the  list price of the home, however the return on investment can be as much as 8-10% back.  We have pricing showcases starting at packages as low as $495 an a full range of solutions up to $10,000 depending on what the home requires.  You will make up the cost of your staging investment with the increased selling price of your home because improving the condition of your house before you list it can greatly impact your selling price.  Clients can generally make 10-15% more when they sell their home staged as opposed to "as is" condition and sell much faster due to increased visibility and showings.  Hiring a home stager gets you your return on your investment by 390%.  Vacant Home Staging would be the most costly, as more   work is required for vacant spaces.  Staging fees reflect the initial staging investment and the average monthly rental fee.  Destined Dreams will gladly work within YOUR budget and customize a dreamy design plan that works for YOUR budget.

Of course!  This is our passion and this is what we thoroughly love to do.  Staging with us is a no-brainer, we are hired to do a fabulous job and we take pride in all that we do!

Absolutely! When the market is slow or softer, properties need staging even more to generate interested buyers.  Staging your property gives a competitive edge regardless of the market condition.  Your house stands out from the crowd of properties that aren’t staged.  You may decide not to stage your property, but someone else who’s competing for the same buyer is.

It will sell, but at what price?  Can a house ever sell for too much?  Why not stage it so it will sell for more money and generate a bidding war.  If you don't mind gambling with your equity, then by all means sell without staging.  Failure to stage your home makes you less likely to get the price you're asking for and house might end up staying on the market longer than you want.  Are you willing to take that kind of risk?  We believe you deserve the best!  Don't you???

No problem!  You can still benefit from our services as staging can be equally effective even if a house has been on the market for an extended period of time unsold.  We will stage it before your next open house!

Good for your neighbours!  What you don't know is whether they made as much money on it as they could have.  Why gamble with the equity in your house?  A ton of statistics support the claim that staging works when homes are properly staged as it leaves a lasting impression and stimulates multiple offers.

Staging a home for sale and decorating a home for living are two entirely different situations.  When you put your property on the market you have to appeal to the widest audience in order to capture the interest of the one buyer who wants to buy your house.  Doing so involves being totally detached and unemotional.  Stagers provide that third party objective opinion.  The fact of the matter is, selling your house isn't about you.  It's about what the buyer wants.

Decorating a home is for someone's own personal preference, taste and life style.  Staging is neutralizing a home and depersonalizing it to create mass appeal.

We typically are booked up several days or weeks in advance.  The only way to ensure that you get the staging date that you want, is to execute the agreement and submit a 50% deposit.

From beginning to end, it all depends on the scope of what needs to be done for the best outcome and how soon you want your house on the market.  The day of staging and de-staging takes up a better part of the day.

You can't afford not to invest in a home stager.  When you don't stage you cheat yourself by losing money.  Staging is in your best interest, as it earns back home equity.  A home is the most important and most expensive thing we buy, why not have it stand out from the competition by investing now?  Then you will have more money to invest in your new home at a faster pace, alleviating carrying costs.  The ROSI (Return on Staging Investment) is less than the cost of your first price reduction which is 10-20% on average.  Don't undervalue the staging process unless you are prepared to accept less than what your property is worth.  We can do as little or as much as you like depending on your preferences and budget.  Staging changes lives and it works!

A staged home on average will sell 17% more than a home that is not staged. The National Association of Realtors state that for every invested $100 the return is potentially $400. 95% of homes that are staged sell in 11 days or less than that, which is 87% quicker than a home that is not staged.

The importance of home staging stems from the emphasizing of a property and it's best features and showcasing your home at its peak potential. It's critically important to give a positive impression by portraying a well-kept home.

According to RESA (the Real Estate Staging Association) more than half of their surveyed realtors said they offered to pay for or a portion of the staging services in some cases. However RESA's survey of realtors said that 80% of the realtors would pay for a consultation with a stager for their client (between $300-600)

Empty houses do take longer to sell on the market, in comparison to an occupied or staged home. There was a study conducted by the Appraisal Institute and their findings were that the homes that were empty sold for 6% less and stayed on market longer than an occupied home.

Staging a home is a must-do in real estate as the impact when performed correctly can really enhance the beauty of the home, creating an emotional connection to buyers. 77% of buyer's agents has said that home staging has made it much easier for buyers to visualize the property as their own future home. According to extensive industry analysis, staged homes do sell for more money and faster than the homes that are not staged.
