About Destined Dreams
We are a two-time award-winning, high-touch home staging services and solutions firm that specializes in home staging and special event decor. Our business is innovative and educational! We stay up to date on not only real estate market trends but also design trends.
While we find it essential to continue to be trendsetters in our industry, educating our clients and bringing innovative ideas to the forefront, are equally important to us.
We are in our third year of business and have staged millions of dollars worth of homes, presented at over ten brokerages, obtained three home staging credentials as well as other achievements that we are proud of.
We service the areas of Greater Hamilton, Grimsby, Brantford, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Milton, Brampton, and surrounding areas. We find that our busiest time of year is the spring season when buyers are looking forward to getting out, enjoying the weather, looking for a new home and preparing to move.
Our hours of operation are from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday through Friday. We are also available on Saturdays, but only by special appointment.
The Destined Dreams Difference
We work with an array of clients, but there are certain clients that we call our ‘Dream Clients.’ These ‘Dream Clients’ are motivated to explore our business and are serious about their home investment. They are eager to sell their home quickly and for more money and trust the professional stager that they hired to conquer the task.
What sets Destined Dreams apart from the rest of our competitors is our efficiency, professionalism, client relations, and talent. Clients choose to do business with us for two primary reasons. Number one, they trust us. Number two, they like us as a person. Clients work with people they know, like and trust. The discussions and value we bring to a client make us second to none.
Another aspect that we are incredibly proud of is the recognition we receive from the community. Our community has nominated and voted for us for a couple of awards which we have proudly placed first and second. We were awarded the first place in the 2017 edition of The Hamilton Spectator Reader’s Choice Awards, and second place for the 2017-2018 CHCHtv Business Excellence Awards.
Our owner and certified home staging specialist Tamara Grant looks at herself as the ‘Dreamer behind the Dream’, or the ‘Visionary’ and has many dreams and aspirations, some of which have already been implemented, some of which the seeds have already been planted and other dreams that will come to pass. Those dreams and aspirations will all be revealed in time.
While home staging is our passion, we are equally driven by preserving the environment. This drive has earned us our Eco-Stager certification. We practice environmentally friendly services and assist clients by helping them cut their energy use and improve efficiency in their home which will save on utility costs.
We also believe in giving back to society and as part of that belief, we participate in many charities in addition to our own. We have a charity tab on our website where you can see our involvement in Habitat for Humanity building affordable housing and volunteering at their Restore. Tamara is also a three-time blood donor for the Canadian Blood Services. Staging supplies that need to be recycled out are often given to Salvation Army.
Tamara also volunteered her time at Good Shepherd center feeding Thanksgiving dinner for their mission services. Also, in September 2017, Destined Dreams launched its Blessing Bags initiative. The Blessing Bags were filled with everyday life essentials and donated to the YWCA Hamilton Transitional Living Program.
